This fund was setup several years ago to help Hillside Campers who encounter unexpected problems in their lives. These problems may not necessarily be health related. There are no operating costs for the fund (other than the expenses involved in the Annual Labor Day Raffle.) Members of Helping Hands have voted to keep assistance to necessities including rent, utlities, and medications. The fund does not pay for cable TV, internet access or cellular phones. All aid is kept confidential.

100% of all donations go to assist persons living with AIDS in Oneida and Herkimer Counties. Funds from the Jack Jackson Memorial Fund are to be used to meet only the necessary and immediate emergency needs which cannot be met by any other funding sources. Personal needs of P.L.W.A's (persons living with AIDS) shall include items that are necessary to maintain a healthy enviroment. Persons eligible for the funds must be diagnosed with AIDS by way of CDC (center for disease control.) The names of applicants and recipients of the fund shall remain unknown to all except fund administrators. Everyone that is associate with the fund is a volunteer.

Offering a home to spend their last days in comfort and safety, the Abraham House specifically aims to make the benefits of end-of-life care more available to the needy and the alienated person, determinded to be within the last three months of their lives. The Abraham House performs ministry of hospitality, servicing Oneida and Herkimer counties. Care of the patient is provided at no cost.
